Greenwich Point Wharf temporary closure

From Monday 22 April until late 2024, Greenwich Point Wharf is being upgraded and will be closed to the public for around eight months, weather and site conditions permitting. Ferry passengers will need to use alternative transport during the wharf closure:

  • Use the existing 265 bus route which travels from Lane Cove to North Sydney via Greenwich, connecting with St Leonards and North Sydney train stations.
  • Additional bus services for the 265 route will be provided between Greenwich Point Wharf and Crows Nest, via St Leonards during weekdays and nights and over the weekends to offset the missing ferry services.
  • Captain Cook Cruises operates a commuter ferry service during peak travel times from Greenwich Wharf Bay Street. Please check their website for more information.
  • Allow extra travel time, listen to announcements and check information displays for service updates.
